tbh it makes all your posts look like poems calandale.
badly written ones.

i have just gotten to the point where i merely skim his posts.

I never read them because until recently I just assumed he was posting poems.

Nah. I don't write poems without a pay off.

I was more talking about his lack of sympathy for someone that's upset that likes someone a lot and cannot get them.

Why does it seem like,

Whenever calandale posts,

He writes a haiku ??

That's fruad. You can't even spell words that you
make up. Plus, that's a pretty lame way to 'fix' a
post, but whatever stews your little seeds.

You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.

I take it no one was interested in the
original question.

original question.
I was.
What about the hot partner/plain partner scenario?
That used to happen a lot when I was at school....
My friend and I had the theory that the plain partner would then try harder to keep the hot partner and the hot partner chose the plain partner because they were too interested in their own looks and wanted to be the shining star of the relationship?
Hell, we were 17 though....we also had the theory that good looking people often had ugly kids if they matched up...the good looks cancelled out each other....

i would agree with the first part of this:

but i disagree with the second part.  i am from southern california and we have a disproprtionally number of beautiful people here.  i suspect that it is because all the beautiful people moved here from different parts of the country to pursue their dreams of stardom in the movie industry.
Misunderstood.

Yes, but if they didn't have thick gobs of make up, dyed hair and tans, would they all be so beautiful?

yes.

the makeup and lighting simply enhanses the looks.

believe me, a socal 7 is like a 10 anywhere else in the country.
Misunderstood.

yes.no

the makeup and lighting simply enhanses ruins the looks.

fixed. THIS is really the point that I was making. The tendency
to try and modify the natural appearance through makeup
and fake (or real) tans, is what generally makes people
considered 'hot', yet I find this unattractive. Hell,
it's fine in some jack-off magazine, but is unappealing
as hell to me in real life.
