Hey, I don't know yet what alcohol would do to me, as far as potency and unique effects.  I never intend to find out, either.  I'd probably get drunk very very easily though; that much is a fair guess given my general metabolism of medications.

Naah; benzos work in similar receptors and they don't make me horny in the least.  I'm just not sure if the fact that it was alcohol I drank would make me start either feeling remorseful, or getting a flood of memories from my childhood.  Either way, a drunk me would probably just be rocking in the corner, crying.  I might have a good experience and just be disinhibited like with benzos, though.  50/50.

I probably would clean out my refirgerator in a half-hour long binge.

I think there is a difference between a woman drinking enough to lower her inhibitions and saying yes to sex in that condition and being too drunk to reasonably give consent.  At any rate, although the laws vary from state to state, a person who has sex with a woman too drunk to give consent and who did not administer the intoxicating substance to her is guilty of simple rape as opposed to forcible rape and I believe the penalties are different.`If the perpetrator administered the intoxicating substance without the victim's consent and then has sex with her, the penalties are much harsher.

This statement almost seems like a contradiction. If someone is
drugged, and used, they never were given a chance to say no -
it seems like some form of rape - though perhaps there's
another word for forcing sex without consent which you find
more appropriate. But there has to be (and is legally) a difference
between types of rape. The word is so loaded with the violent
image however, that many don't really consider date rape to
be all that bad; they are definitely different creatures though.

Yeah. It's also pretty damned hard to prove the issue when drugs are
involved. But I wouldn't be one bit surprised if there were women
who went to parties, and got themselves drunk enough to pass
out, in the hopes of waking up, and being used in some sort of
Frat gang-bang. Still, it seems like anyone climbing aboard someone
who's incapable of reacting probably deserve some sort of rape
charge.

not sure where i said anything about being drugged in the quoted statement that you argued against.
also, not sure if i ever argued that someone who was given drugs or alcohol against their will was not rape.

i think that mainly it is to give yourself a built in excuse to do the things that you want to do when you are sober, but maybe to shy to do.

no, seemed to allow for slipping her a mickey. One might
also get drunk (or perhaps be in a coma) under 'safe'
circumstances, and simply be happened upon, and used.
I think that people should probably refrain from having
sex with the unconscious, unless they know that it
won't be unwanted.

To be fair though, it's not like a sleeping body doesn't
still respond. No idea with a drugged or comatose one.
My wife actually moved better when sleeping (at least
inside); telling her that - and agreeing with one of her
ex'es, was one of the great pains that I inflicted on
her, accidentally.

Well, I'd move VERY slowly, so as not to wake her fully.
Sometimes, it worked. She was never unhappy about it.
Perhaps it was just the concentration of trying not to
awaken her, that made her seem like she was moving
better.

Though, she passed out during an RPG, and was kinda
moving around pretty well - much to the rest of the
players' amusement. She had very little trouble falling
asleep.
