Funny/scary video:
Quote
14:10 - Moarskrillex42: She said something about knowing why I wanted to move to Glasgow when she came in. She plopped down on my bed and told me to go ahead and open it for her.

14:11 - Peter5930: So, she thought I was your lover and that I was sending you a box full of sex toys, and that you wanted to move to Glasgow to be with me?

Impromptu auditing. Nice.

This is the shit they should use for autism social skills training. Pick apart that video and point out every bullying technique those idiots are trying to use.
You'll never self-actualize the subconscious canopy of stardust with that attitude.

Talk about criticizing in the mirror.  ::) The scientologists were guilty of everything they tried to throw at people.

I'v read bits and pieces of Hubbards "sci-fi" stories......man were they awful.  I even went out a rented the "Battlefield Earth" video.  That was the movies that John Travolta and other scientologists financed to bring Hubbards work to the masses. ::)  It was so bad, it was good, muting the movie and subbing my own dialog for it.

Funny/scary video:

Yes, it was scary.  Did you see how dead the Scientologists' eyes were?

Apparently, that is how they do things if anyone says or even thinks bad things about Scientology.  They say the person must be concealing their own crimes.

I looked up Lisa McPhearson, who was mentioned in the video.  She died of severe dehydration after the Scientologists removed her from the hospital and held her for 18 days after she had a minor traffic accident and walked naked down a busy street.

For those in the UK, this weeks Panorama is about Scientology- its on at 8:30.

Quote
John Sweeney investigates the Church of Scientology, endorsed by some major Hollywood celebrities, but which continues to face the criticism that it is less of a religion and more of a cult. Some former members claim the Church uses a mind control technique to put opponents at a psychological disadvantage. During the course of his investigation, Sweeney is shouted at, spied on, visited in his hotel at midnight and chased around the streets of LA by strangers in hire cars

Well I watched the show and whilst there wasn't a great deal of information in there about Scientology I found it interesting the way the reporter was treated by them whilst researching and filming the piece.  He was followed, lectured constantly (with no change to express his own opinion till he lost his temper and yelled at the Scientology guy, who even then carried on talking over him), allowed only to talk to celeb members (who then took back permission to show what they'd had to say because he asked questions they didn't like), accused of making a terrorist threat against the cult, etc, etc.

I'm only half way through the stuff that Pyraxis posted but its scary stuff.
