Fucking great industrial/indie rock crossover band who made wank like mansun, garbage etc sound like whiny insipid little twats. Grimy, sleazy, sexy, abrasive, hypnotic... this is Curve's best album I reckon. Me likey! :eyebrows:

i would've said mansun et al manage to sound like whiny inspid twats all by themselves, myself.  ;)

and now for my recommendation, for which you'll all go:  ::)

sheer beauty - some of this is the closest to "god/the divine/the universe/whatever you call it" anyone will ever be able to get:

Neville Marriner is a favourite. He's conducted a fantastic version of Bach's St Matthew Passion.

oooooh, the st matthews...  that first bit is sublime.

if you're ever going to get a version of "the lark ascending", though, get that one - i've got several, and no-one comes anywhere near iona brown's violin playing.  absolutely transcendent.

I probably will, at some point. Like I said, Marriner is a favourite of mine.

For Richard ,

Also, Fuck the weak shit, go for the stuff with real mondo appeal

For everybody

Also, the definitive Live Rock n Roll album ( Though the audio quality is admittedly shite, but still the first and as far as I know only official live CD where you can actually hear audience thrown stuff breaking as it hits guitars, Microphones and other expensive equipment)
