No Alex, you misinterpreted me.  I was referring to the fact that McJ often says that to me.  He has no empathy when he upsets me.

Upsetting others distresses me and I don't know how to deal with it.  Often I do nothing so that makes it worse.

With my ex, it's a complicated situation.  Mainly because it's the first trauma that either of us has had to deal with apart, but then how do you be a comfort when you aren't together type situation.

Wouldn't be the first time I misinterpreted someone, and I doubt it will be the last.   I don't feel the need to apologize for upsetting people too often myself.   Sounds pretty damn complicated if you are worried about comforting someone you aren't even with anymore.   Obviously you felt close to the person who died yourself, so it was actually traumatic for you in a way.   I don't communicate with either of my ex's so I can't even understand the situation, I wouldn't care if their parents died if I even somehow found out.    I burn bridges.

We were together a long time and were supposed to get married this year, so obviously his family means a lot to me to.  That's the hard thing.

Why did you break up with him?

Mutual agreement.  I probably don't want to go into specifics on a public thread Callaway.  I know you understand that.  :)

I think anyone who has been to a pub after 10.30pm has definitely heard that song.   ;)

Heaps.  It's more a song you sing when you are pissed, well, it is here.  I was sort of corny when it came out in my day.

Did you know it was used in Benny & Joon?

It's all thanks to Mary Stuart who asked for the song to be in the movie whom kept playing it on the set because it was her favorite.

That's why I love the song. Benny & Joon.

is it irritating to you when Spokane talks about Benny and Joon?

Actually, funnily enough, not really, because I realise it's one of her obsessions.

What do you prefer in cheesecake:

The stuff on the top (sometimes jam)
The cheesy filling
The crumbed biscuits
?

I like a plain baked cheesecake the best.  The biscuits.  But it depends on the cheesecake.  If it's a really nice baked one, I can handle the whole lot.

How bad would you rate your sweet tooth from 1-10?
Apart from eclairs, What are your three favourite sweet foods or puddings?

I much prefer savoury, but I was a lolly freak when I was a kid and hated salty food altogether.

Top 3 would be chocolate, apple crumble and the third can vary.

I tend to go through fads where I constantly crave something then get sick of the sight of it.  Story of my life.  I used to have cheesecake from a particular shop at least three times a week!

mmmm, sweet stuff. Have you tried Pavlova? It's the best. 3 times a week isn't bad, when i'm going through those phases i'd eat chocolate packets of stuff 3 times a day :(

Fatty, I demolished some lemon meringue pie today.  It was the best I've ever had.

Australia tends to get a lot of European and English music (as well as American), Abba were actually huge here before anywhere else, for example.  That's probably why.
