No, I go shopping with a purpose.  Smash and grab.  Although I did go out on Saturday to get some bargains and I wandered around for ages....I have to be in the zone and alone.  I never go shopping with anyone, male or female, I get to focused on what I want to look at and frustrated if I can't leave when I want to.....

such a caring and sharing person I am.

Same here. I hate waiting on someone to leave and having to leave just because the person you're with wants to. My second BF feel asleep at a bookstore while I was there for four hours. Did the same thing to my mother at a Disney store in Paris and wore her legs out from standing and I was there for two hours and only bought a pair of 101 Dalmatians socks. Considerate eh?
Then she made me wait for her to rest on a bench after I was done in there.

You have any kids? If so, how old?

No, do you?

What are your interests? (No need to go into detail, just likes of yours and hobbies)

Mmm, I thought I'd done this before.  I like to paint, read non fiction, cooking, architecture and interior design.  At the moment.

I've had lots of different interests, these are the ones that have remained throughout.  If you mean special interests, probably words forever, since I can remember and most of the above.

I also like some sports, like watching motor car racing, tennis, hockey or gymnastics.

Then we do have stuff in common. I like to paint and draw, make cards, read nonfiction and fiction, cook etc. :)
What kind of painting do you like?Oils, acrylic.. watercolour? Realistic, odd?

I used to like drawing a lot, pencils, pastels and charcoal.  And I always loved painting in watercolours also....then I realised I was in a bit of a rut because I wanted everything realistic in my drawings and painting.  So I didn't do it for a few years so I thought I should bite the bullet and try oil painting, which I love...and really enjoying doing abstract work.

I've never really liked acrylic much.  We did a lot of it in school and it probably wasn't the best quality paint.

But I'm really enjoying oil painting...mostly abstract...I've tried out all sizes... from miniatures to large...I have a really big piece that I'm working on at the moment.

Next I'd like to try gouche.

See, I spelled it wrong.  I'm writing legal docs at the moment.  Can't multi task!

I wouldn't eat it...but then again, I wouldn't put a slug on my clit either.

And I suppose the fact that it's spelled tempera and not tempura makes
a difference too?

As to the slug, I don't recommend. Flies are better.

God, I don't even want to know that story.  I think there's some crass Australian joke about blowflies buzzing around in a coke bottle...but let's not go there!

How do you know I didn't come out of a bottle?

I can grant you three wishes.

I wish that I knew what to wish for.

You've had 40 years...Lord help us.  I think greed for wishes to be granted is more your problem. :)

Were you initially shocked that oil paints can be left on the pallette for weeks withought drying up?

I thought that was kinda cool when I first used them.
