You grew out of the self-diagnosis thing, eh? (You didn't reject it when you wanted sympathy from the club bouncer.)

Seems a bit stereotypical for autistics to be without selflessness.

I dont look for sympathy, i look to get my way. You need to be a little stereotypical to fit the diagnosis.

You aren't autistic, Eamonn?

Probably not. Who knows what we are or where we come from? What is certain in life?

Even if I had the opportunity, I wouldn't do that. Doing so would require a person with a lack of integrity.

One of the best tombstone inscriptions I've seen in a while.
Jimi Hendrix: When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

She's stated explicitly that she keeps her personal history private for a reason. However, to prove various points to various people, she's posted some of her diagnostic paperwork here, if you're willing to sit there for hours deciphering the bad scans.

I sat here for hours deciphering the bad scans.  It's to defend herself from the claims of John Best, Jr. that she isn't autistic, I guess.  He has some outlandish theories about her.  She says, "I want to be clear that I am putting these up primarily to verify that I do indeed exist."

John Best, Jr. is like a religious zealot in the fervor with which he embraces ALA chelation therapy for his autistic son and I suppose, by extension for all autistic children.  He already has given himself an out, in case this "therapy" is unsuccessful:  He started doing it when his son Sam was eight years old and he thinks that he should have started younger.  Now he is attacking Anhaga, but I have not been able to figure out what terrible thing he thinks she did, other than maybe disagree with his opinion.

So did I, LOL. I don't know whether it was intentional or not, but I thought it was a smart move because only more dedicated people will bother. So it actually still protects her (your, if you're still reading this thread) privacy to a degree.

I don't know about John Best Jr. Unless someone like that is personally threatening me, I don't generally waste energy on them. There are too many in the world to fight every one that you come across.
You'll never self-actualize the subconscious canopy of stardust with that attitude.
