It is the sound of three jazz bass players coming together to create a unique kind of jazz.

I like it.  I also have a DVD performance from the same set of discs.



When I was younger, one of the bands I worked with was (hard as fuck rock, every song was about sex or drugs or both and sometimes just plain old fucking - it was an acquired taste)  two very accomplished bass players and two very accomplished drummers, and me of course. I had the gear and I knew how to make an "all bass band work"  for the public.  SEOMPE was the name - pronounce it  "SAY OHM pay"


We kicked ass!!


SMV is very mellow, even sophisticated at times.
