Belle was the other strong character I considered.  The reason I picked Jasmine was because Jasmine has a wild quality to her as well as having an attitude.
And as always, these are simply my worthless opinions.
Reverence is fine, Sanctity is silly.
We're all fucked, it helps to remember that.

Yah. Never watched Aladdin as much as Lion King and Beauty And The Beast. I identify with both Belle and the Beast actually. I always have identified with the outcasts, like phantom of the opera and the like. But Belle...yes, She suits me more as she does have that soft side...she has a certain wildness too though, in her determination to break free of the confines of society.

He's the hero, he didn't save her on the premise that he was promised poontang.  At least not in a disney movie.  She could have thanked him, and sent him on his way, and got back to running through suitors.  And just because he saved her does not mean she is in any way required to marry him.
Keeping in mind that Jasmine was a modern western world woman who lived in Arabia, 800AD, and her father was a pussy..
she could be dead.  what part of that don't you understand.
should i speak slower.
Misunderstood.

How does her doing better relate to her being dead or not?  She didn't die.  Alladin saved her.  Afterwards she could have kicked his ass to the curb, and found somebody better.

What the fuck, you're talking about new Disney characters. I just like the old ones that have been there since Walt Disney himself was alive: Donald Duck; Hewey, Dewey and Lewey; Uncle Scrooge, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Clarabella Cow, etc.

I don't think I'm a disney princess.  I'm more of a weird sidekick or even villian.  Maybe the Genie in aladdin on my good days.
it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.

You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.

Do you know who Magica De Spell is? She's weird and villain.

I'm afraid that that's what would've happened in real life. I mean, what nomaken says.

I thought Aladdin and Jasmine in the Disney movie were very well matched.  Who could have been better for her?  Aladdin showed Jasmine a whole new world that she could not have envisioned.  He sincerely cared about her and not what she could do for him.  Aladdin was the diamond in the rough.  When he stole bread because he was so hungry, he gave it away to children who were even hungrier than he was.
