I didn't get any help cuz I didn't need any help.

I've never needed help because I've always had someone to take care of me.  :zoinks:

I wish I did. I mean, yeah, to a degree it is good I am pretty much living independently, but I struggle a great deal with it and wish now I shared my flat with someone or was in a house share. It is quite embarrassing to admit really, that I don't do so well living alone.
I think that's okay to want someone to share the load. It may be a struggle but at least you know you can.  :viking:  I've never had to be independent, so I have no real clue.  :dunno:

Adulthood!

No help!

Couldn't care less!

 :headbang2:
Crazy, I'm halfway to crazy
Suicide would waste me
Homicide would break me
Tongue tied and tied to the tongue
Tongue tied and tied to the tongue
Oh, is life as bad as dreams
I guess that's just the way it seems

I was diagnosed at 28, a couple of years after my older son. There is little to no help here for anyone over 25 - I was told I may benefit from CBT to help deal with certain issues but was referred back to psych for fucking talk therapy. No thanks.  ::)

I honestly don't know how well I would manage alone, as I've never lived alone - I left home at 19 to set up home with Mel and we grew into adults together. Mel is my reality check.

Do you think she will ever drop by here to say hello again??

No. She's moved on.

Say Hello to her from me regardless. She is good people. You both are.
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

How to apologise to Scrap

Yeah, I lived with my mother until I was 24 then moved in with my partner, left him 5 and a half years later as we were both aspies (he knew he was, but neither of us had sussed that I was at that time) and other than a year in a shared student house, have lived alone ever since. I wish I could find someone who I could live with and was compatible with as much as I need my own space, I also need companionship. I have 1 friend who lives in my city and that's it. I have often gone weeks, months without speaking to anyone face to face. It is good you have someone. I was sort of forced into independence by circumstances really.
