I'm not even sure my old handle survvived. We had a change of platform,IIRC, and i never managed to re-register properly, but i was smallbluethingummy about an aeon ago. I dropped that on other boards cos nobody recognised the reference to to the Suzanne Vega song, and they thought it meant something rude. Anyway, i didn't try too hard to re-register cos somebody (i won't name) had been spreading all kinds of shit around about me, and Deano told me (privately) that guy was still active on AV. Nobody believed a word he was saying, but still, i figured it best if we stay right out of each other's orbit.
Prior to that I have a few very good memories, especially of RL meetings. Is Deano still running it? I'd be amazed if he turned into a nazi, though.
I went to a few meetups too. Deano certainly wasn't a Nazi, it was this one woman who was Nazi-like in her moderating...really had it in for me.

I think that the main prob with Aspie Village and the like is that they try too hard to be a "safe environment" which means the bullying gets shuttled into the background, where it does a lot more harm . And the mods can turn into bullies, ofc. However, Deano has been a victim of behind-the-scenes bullying himself. He'd be a good guy to talk to about it.
