It's doable but you have to come up with something clever to keep the kid(s) busy.

It is not a touchy subject. I have taken laxatives in the past when I couldn't....go, also when I took iron tablets and I couldn't.... go then, either.
I remember taking them and thinking I wanted something to help me sleep as well. Then thought that would not be a good idea!
