Oh, still don't have a video camera for my bike yet, but this is part of my commute to and from work every day. It's a stretch of road called Harris Grade. It used to be part of Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway). This is some dude on a 600 Ninja heading south from the Santa Maria side of the road.

It gets interesting at about 2:20.  :viking:

Doesn't work. It only lets me choose bitmap. I can't even type in JPG. I did it before, I just can't remember how I did it.  :dunno:

I had to sell it because I needed the money at the time.

I like my Suzuki V-Strom 650 but it doesn't have the same power (63hp V-twin vs 75hp inline 4).

Someone I worked with used to do something sort of similar - he would buy a motorbike when the weather was good, then as soon as he started to dislike being rained on all the time (autumn/winter), he would sell the motorbike and buy a car. Repeat process. I did say to him, why not have both? But he couldn't afford it.

That sounds like it would be self-defeating. He's throwing money away by having to always pay for new registration and insurance, not to mention depreciation every time he goes to sell.

In California, I could ride year round because I have rain gear. I owned this during the drought so we didn't have much rain to begin with.

Here in central Oregon, because we're on the dry side of the cascade mountains, I only have to park my bike when it snows. They do make snowmobile conversion kits for most dirt bikes but I can't justify spending $4k+ for one and I'm not even sure if they make them for my bike.
