Well if I was put into a reality TV show where people kill each other for entertainment I'd much rather have a velociraptor I could command than a pump-action shotgun  :viking:

A good shotgun can kill any game animal presently living (on land) in North America. Velociraptor was a glorified chicken. I'd rather have the gun.

Was randomly exposed to an unwanted and unsought spoiler to the movie, The Others, before seeing it. That sort of sucked.

I agree that in some cases spoilers will ruin the surprise, but only when the surprise is genuine - which is rare in most movies today :D
GoT is probably among those where who-will-die-next is genuinely difficult to guess, so being told beforehand sortof sucks :D

But the vast majority of movies and series are quite predictable.
