Bought some lithium metal, in mineral oil, a little under an ounce, in little prills or chips, kinda small pelleted nuggets of Li metal, which is one of two perfect forms for my main uses for it in the world of chemistry. The other, as it happens, being the strips of Li foil to be yanked out, under mineral oil or under petrol that has been sparged with inert gas through a fishtank bubbler airstone thingy to prevent it oxidizing as rapidly as it can be pulled out. Its in the form of a thin tape-like foil, very thin and very rapidly reactive due to the large surface area.
