We need to replace the PR's Wii that was lost in the fire.  I'm thinking of paying the extra money and getting the WiiU.  BUT, I'm not sure it can be played well by someone who can only use her left hand.  Input please.

As a gaming system, the Wii U is more complicated than the Wii. Have you looked at the steps needed to play a game on the Wii U? Is the PR a gamer, and will she want to play the latest games?

Thanks Semi.  She's a casual player, mostly bowling, wheel of fortune, that sort of stuff.  I'd buy a regular Wii, but I'm thinking of new games she may want, which will probably involve boy bands or Disney princesses.

We don't have one...yet. :LOL:   I would think she might have some problems with the bundled controller since they changed the controller.

You can get remotes like the ones with the old wii for them, they have compatible ones on Amazon listed, so I'm sure they have them in the store also. I'm thinking that might be a solution for her if she was doing fine with the remote on the older wii.
