Common swifts are racing around. Oenothera opened their flowers. Some musquitos are trying to get in the house. Some swallows roam the skies too. Bats will be here soon. Skies are colouring orange, and some pistachio hues of green in the north.

last night choice of 3 odors (wolfish really does have a doggy nose): stale cigarette smoke wafting up from the apt below our house, early stages compost (read: garbage), or diesel fuel from passing trains. True to character, I chose the compost.

It is raining. Neighbour is having bad luck with her washing for the third day in a row.

So, that is it. All living creatures have found a place to hide, and wet washing is getting rinsed really thorough.

Not outside, but still happening outside my house. Toddler running up and down, getting rid of superfluous energy. These attached houses are quite good when it comes to most sounds. But contact sounds they do not seem to block at all.
