Freezing temperatures. Snow hinted at tonight. Maybe we'll have winter after all.

Rain and thunderstorm in the afternoon here. Cold winds too. None of it bothered me much though.

Funniest thing.. I had the same song in my head the last couple of days too but.. had the line 'zie de maan schijnt door de bomen, makkers staakt uw wild geraas of trippeltrippeltrippeltrap/andere flauwe eindjes' on repeat when I rode my bike to get me my groceries. It was what I saw looking up and ja, me too tend to make little songs up (on what ever melody that's in my head) in various situations.. and ja, sing 'em aloud a little. Cannot think of a good example now but it's an okay trait to have, I think. (Sometimes I laugh out loud too over the silly stuff I come up with)  :zoinks:

I do very similar. My youngest hates it when I do though. She thinks mummy should act more normal..........  Poor kid.

 Yeah, kids tend to go through that phase (at some stage)..

But bah.. normal-ness (and the more rigid conventions)? Esp. when you're having a bit of fun/acting somewhat silly. Me, personally, kinda learned to not mind that much about being 'not normal' in other folk's perceptions (maybe) along the way.

Can bring 'unconditional' freedom, at times, I'm reckoning.. (um, in the weather thread)

Indeed, as free as the wind or the rain.

My oldest never minds, and hasn't. 't is just my youngest doing that, and, she always did.

Weather wise, I picked a tiny tomato from the one plant still standing. Plant is all brown now. Tomato was really nice and sweet. Don't think the other two orange coloured ones will get to that stage, but, they still have ornamental value.

Think I should harvest my last chili peppers tomorrow. The plants are now shrivelling up. They were still standing proud and green last week. Amazing, how different the weather is, compared to last year.

Right now, rain is beating on my windows. I hear wind gushing. It is a bit over 4ºC. 0:30 am.

Good sounds to listen to while in bed.

If you pick the orange tomatoes now, they will finish ripening on your kitchen counter.  If a green tomato has reached full maturity, it will finish ripening on the counter as well.

Here, it's -3°F which is -19°C, so very cold but not windy at all and it has finished snowing for the moment.

19.6°C here at the moment (which is cold at this time of year) - 1:28pm, and it is raining. Raining! Thunder too. Has rained quite heavily all morning. Last night I thought I would take my car for a wash today. Maybe I will tomorrow instead.

Cold.

I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

It's weirdly warm here, still!  It feels like spring rather than almost-winter!  :dunno:
