The cold front will arrive by tomorrow afternoon.  Still in the 70's and cloudy.  Had to turn on the A/C because it was 80 degrees inside.

  I think it was foggy anyway,  and the smoke from the bonfire apparently wafted over so visibility on that tiny stretch was very poor.  I heard something about the fireworks being a distraction too.

Many miles of our motorways are well lit anyway, but this bit wasn't.  I think it is wrong that they have made it a 'criminal investigation' and are looking at the rugby club who held the event, just like they have for many years.  There was no 'intent' to make the driving conditions more hazardous.  It's just one of those things where lessons get learned.  Prosecuting the club won't bring back the dead.  I think they are going to be made into 'scapegoats' because the 'public' want answers.

Day started grey but gradually the sun got a bit more room to shine through in the afternoon. Temperature went up to 11*C here.

Plus the forecast till over the coming weekend is sunny.  :thumbup:

Yep, Hyke. Online it says 12*C at the moment but my digital thermometer outside states that it's 14*C. :smarty:

Lived in Amersfoort (and Hoevelaken) and there's for sure a difference in the weather comparing those places with BoZ. Okay, all is relative but here's quite a bit more sun per year, periods of greyness (clouded for days on end) are remarkable shorter and yeah, there's less rain in mms p/y too. Living more southwards and closer to quite a bit of water does take the rougher edges off the more negative weather here. Can get, to my disliking, a bit hot here some days in Summer though.
