45 minutes ago I was sitting outside and watched the thunderstorm (from the South) coming closer and closer. I really like doing that (when possible).. just to get inside before I get wet. Now somewhat later it's raining quite heavy here and it seems the thunderstorm is over it's peak. Hope it goes intense again soon.

Was a lot earlier at your place.

It came in three surges here last night, and it was beautiful.  8)

They predicted a very wet day today.
So, plenty of sun, nice clouds, three drops of rain, nice bit of wind. Lovely weather. 19oC

Today it is sunny and dry, very comfortable.  I'm glad I took my air conditioners out of the windows last week before
departing to California, as I certainly don't need them anymore and it's good to have that big job already done.  8)

We're getting a hurricane tomorrow?

Well, a post-tropical cyclone anyway.  I'm right in the middle of the orange 'be prepared' warning zone for Monday on the met office site.

You mean, think of how much nicer the weather is down there than it is up here in Scotland?

Yes.  England has already taken much of value from Scotland, so why not take the good weather too?

I'm disappointed; we're supposed to be getting the worst of it right now, but it's just pretty average as wet and windy days go up here.

We had a storm yesterday. Today all that is left are strong winds and rain.

Sunny and breezy.  The forecast is for more rain on Thursday and Friday.

Was it the remnants of Lee that hit Great Britain?
