Breezy with a solid grey sky.

Very even, bright sky, with a light covering of upper level cirrus clouds.

Eleven degrees Fahrenheit (-11.6C) Not even a stir of wind. No melting (except from chemicals) has happened since the "big snow"  a couple of days ago.

Still delaying school start times by two hours.

Ah that'd going to suck for him, being out in heat like that is not good.

Today was much better, got to around 32°C.

Hopefully he will be in an air-conditioned room with computers all day. I think I will go to my mum's. She has air-conditioning. :)

That's a bit different from our overnight low:  Seven degrees below zero Fahrenheit  (-21.6 C)

It's already "warmed up"  to eight degrees Fahrenheit (-13.3 C).

When there is a mass of snow on the ground with clear skies (yes, it's quite sunny out there) it gets pretty cold here.

33C. Sunny.

Our summers here only reach that temperature about three or four times per year on average.

Last year it was that hot only once - the year before not even once.

Where I grew up, in south Texas, it could be close to that temperature almost any day of the year.
I miss it, this time of year.

It is above freezing out there.

I managed a lot of shoveling of icy snow today. I made an incredibly solid ice-packed, waist high wall next to the street, by clearing the sidewalk on the "long side"  of our yard.
