Here, too!

I spent the night on my porch, drinking coffee, smoking my pipe and watching the most amazing lightning storm I've seen in twenty years or more.


Most of the heavy weather, tornadoes, lightning fires and damaging wind sheer, stayed south of us, but my wife was at work (in the middle of it) trying to save thirty some-odd UPS trucks from flooding in waste-deep run-off.

She has some awesome stories to tell from the night, like having a door blow off from their "safe place" truck garage, watching a firetruck turn over going around a corner too fast trying to get to a fire started in a commercial area near the UPS station, driving home over scores of dead birds all over the road  .....

nope.  me doesn't like really hot weather - i like the cooler stuff.  crisp, sunny days are my absolute favourite.
