It looks far preferable to the constant rain that we get all winter.  How's your skiing?

The ski areas are crowded and the stores and bars and restaurants are doing a brisk business.   Every two-three days another 3-7 inches of snow falls so the skiiers are quite happy.

I suppose constant rain would bother me too.  But, rain goes away after it falls, constant snow stays around and the "Tunnel" to my front door is depressing.  Believe it or not, there is a 7 foot Yew tree buried under that pile nearest the front entrance.

I'd swap too, in a heartbeat, just to get away from this crap for a week or two.   ::)  And as a further sign that the Gods hate me, it's 42 fucking degrees AND SNOWING.  HEAVILY!   :violin:

it was gorgeous here today, really warm and sunny.  well "warm" is subjective - i'm a cold-loving creature, so it was probably crisp to everyone else.  :)

Not gorgeous, here.
Sunny at times, but the temperature was hovering in the single digits, Fahrenheit with twenty to forty mile per hour winds.
That means dangerous windchill factors in the negative twenty range.

I imagine the fresh smell of sea salt spray to keep warm.
