There was a place in WA that was 50.7C today  :zombiefuck:

We got to a top of 28C today with a mostly clear sky. Currently 20C and I assume the same.
Yeah, it was Onslow which is situated right on the coast. So glad I don't live up north.

23.9°C at 10:50am.

Had a meh sort of thunderstorm earlier this evening. Currently 21C and I assume clear again.

When I'll hear hail banging on my pergola roof, that's when I'll get excited, but probably not a feeling I'll get to have this summer.

Just after letting the cats out, it's 28.6°C and clear at 5:30am. It's going to be a hot one, around 40°C.

Cold and extremely windy.  Yesterday there was lots of coastal flooding with several roads by the beach completely covered

Rainy (3" since 9am today) and 22C. It's kinda ridiculous at this point, the rain gods and their blatant east coast favouritism :P

It bloody is ridiculous that we're not getting any of that rain. :(

In the west we're on track to having the most 40°C and above days on record.

On a personal level, we're going to have our most expensive electricity bill on record because of the air conditioning being run throughout the day.

34.9°C and sunny at 11:35am. The forecast says mid 30s all next week.

I'd like some of your snow, rock hound.

You are more than welcome to it!   8)  Along with some of the cold and wind.   :green:

Currently, increasing snow, we are expecting about 2 feet of the stuff.  18 F with high winds, about 30-40 mph.  Fortunately, it's the cold dry type of snow that makes for decent traction if I have to drive someplace atm.  The majority of the snow is expected to fall between 1 pm and midnight EST.  So Amber and I called out of work and Carla has the day off.  We ain't goin' nowhere!

The high winds are really kicking in now, with heavy snowfall.  Near whiteout conditions!  OY

Like that earlier today.  Still real windy but the snow is not as intense

So I decide to walk to the mailbox set up at our complex.  About 100+ yards.  And it was brutal, I wore the long heavily insulated LL Bean coat that I bought for just such weather.  30-50 mph winds, small dry snow bits, along with 15 F temps made me feel like I was getting a frigid debridement all over.  The coat kept me protected and it's heaviness probably helped keep me upright against the wind.  Got the mail and walked back.  Also watching out for the monster bulldozer plowing around.  By the Great Old Ones I am not going outside again.  Gonna be interesting to see the news tonite and all the possible traffic problems by people ignoring the warnings to stay put or who don't have the luxury on calling out.  OY
