It snowed for a while.

It snowed for a while.

It was in the seventies F (broke an old record for high temperature) yesterday, then in twelve hours it dropped forty five degrees Fahrenheit in about twelve hours.

It turned cold quickly and snowed enough that we have about two inches of snow in the grass. Nothing on the streets.

Windy and chilly outside right now. Just seems like a normal February day, which is fine since it IS February.

... but teasing me with above sixty degree temps all week (broke the records, really for the longest streak of sixty degree weather in February since they began keeping records of such), then seventies yesterday, FFS!

NAh! Old Man Winter, do not tease me this way.

That's pretty much what happened here, but the temperatures went up again today.

Probably still balmy, but I don't know for sure, 'cause I've been indoors all day.  :tard:

Nothing but lots of rain and high winds, some lightning and thunder over night.

South of Indy had tornadoes and hurricane force straight line winds during the night.

Imagine if a roller coaster and a merry-go-round had a weather child together.

Ah, Aeoleus did nothing for you.  (He's the Greek god of wind.  My mother's cousin was named that, but no idea why.)

Boring family trivia:

Aeoleus was nicknamed Buddy.  He married Izzy (Isabel) and they were stationed in Ottumwa Iowa.  They and PA's parents shared a house with them.  PA and their daughter Barbara were infants together.  We didn't know about the joint housekeeping until after we were married.

Cold and blustery with a spattering of snow.
