Not that unusual, historically, but we have a run of very early springs in the past ten years, even after some record breaking harsh winters.

OH!  This past winter was record breakingly mild. BUt it is still very cool at night, quite often.

Two weeks ago, I woke finding the world white with hail. That whole week the days started with the sound of people scraping ice from their car windows. Next weekend, the highs will be 11ºC they say. But this week is summer. Shorts and sleeveless shirts.
Explosion of green, this week. Beautiful.

The wintercoats still are hanging ready. It's not the time to store them away yet.

We had a really cool electrically charged rain storm this evening around dusk.

Still had some light in the sky, but awesome lightning and quite a bit of rainfall.

A lot cooler than last week, and pretty windy. There even was a bit of hail this afternoon. 11ºC at the moment.

About the same temp here  (9C - 49F) in the heat of the day. Not historically unheard of, but it feels like late March.

Windy, too and very cloudy, and a bit annoying with light rain. I wanted to grill something outside this evening, but it is too sprinkly to enjoy.

Every time I want to "air out"  my back yard sound system, about the time I think I can get the tarps off, it rains.
