This winter has been really terrible so far, with barely a hint of sun, and unbelievable amounts of rain and wind.  The ground everywhere is completely waterlogged.

Beautiful blue sky, though the sun is too low in the sky to do much shining at ground level; mostly it's just illuminating the roofs of houses.  It's meant to be heavy rain again for the next 4 days, but then hopefully it'll get colder and dryer after that.  It's still 4C despite the clear sky, but we might get a frost if it stays clear through the night.

Sixteen degrees Farenheit, with about an inch of snow overnight. Just enough to mess up the roads a little and turn everything white. It made for a nice early morning walk, but the dog was a bit put off. More snow on the way.

My dog used to get iceballs between the pads on her feet from the snow building up and sticking to the long fur there, and she found it painful to walk unless I kept cleaning it out.

6C and clear skies. Definitely no snow.

That's more than we have. About 1 mm more.

I had an Irish Spaniel that had the same problem, in the snow and mud. He was a little neurotic, in some ways, and that used to bug the crap out of him.

Turned out sunny, with puffy clouds, in the afternoon and melted most of the snow, but it only got up to the low twenties, today. Suppposed to be much colder tonight, with calm winds and crystal clear skies. Maybe a real snow, soon.
