I believe in death after life.
what would be the difference?

Really?

You have been there?
Empirical evidence supports death happening after life.
death/life is an endless cycle
Do you have evidence to support that opinion?

Of course not

that is knowledge to come at a future time.

I will see later
Okay.  :santa:

In the meantime do you agree that George was an outstanding musician and composer? Given our respective ages I believe we have common ground here.

George was great.

Life after death? Mediums, and Aliens.

...Fuck, don't make me write an essay on that. Already tried that once, it was disastrously complicated. All I can say is that it involves determining how an observer perceives reality as brain tissue decays to dust. I don't believe in life after death though, but rather an observer experiences a level of coherency the more complex an observing system is, and life is the higher potential of this coherency. So in "death", you only reside in a dormant state and can potentially elevate again. The reasoning for that is that we all emerge from this dormant state before, after all we were born to exist right now, no reason why it wouldn't "repeat" itself. Unless entropy affects that, then yeah... Shit it happened again.

Mediums, well that's all psychological, nothing paranormal about it. I could go on about how the mind is brilliant are imagining things and deducting information we absorb subconsciously so well, but again TL;DR territory.

As for aliens, there's likely a lot of organic life out there as in basic cells or even just components of life. Problem is though, you need very ideal circumstances for a ecosystem to evolve uninterrupted by cataclysms enough to form more complex life. Despite that, there's likely billions of rocky planets in this galaxy alone, so it's possible there's quite a few civilizations out there, but way beyond our reach, maybe even theirs to us. If there's FTL to factor in, we're already long fucked, should they want Earth for whatever reason.

Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

Worm food when you die
Charlatans
Possible, but here? Unlikely at best
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

Life after death well at the very least you live on in the memories of others as for any more than that I am doubtful

Mediums crazy or scammers

Aliens just by the size of the universe I would say yes but are they here I don't think so but would like to be proven wrong

Life after death? Mediums, and Aliens.

Aliens, probable.

Life after death? No evidence for that plus lots of evidence that what we perceive is attributed to the neural activities that go on in our brains. No brain means no subjective reality means no life.

I'm not sure. I'll leave it at that. Too much has happened for me to dismiss the idea. Do I believe it's anything like the Christian version of heaven and hell? No.

Mediums, maybe. There are a few that I am really hesitant to dismiss as total nutjobs without personal proof.

Aliens yes. It's a huge universe with lots of other galaxies and planets capable of some form of life I'm sure, I think it's rather foolish to think we're the only ones inhabiting it. I really don't think they give a rats ass about us though and wish if they really do want to abduct someone that they would contact me...I have a list for them. >:D

It's called confirmation bias. Wanna bet, if you gave me access to your experiences, I'd provide simpler natural explanations than what you think?

I call confirmation bias on your call of conformation bias. I bet if I had access to you experiencing her experiences, I could provide 70% more BADASS explanations than your explanations. :green:
