The Lego Love Thread.

I love Lego

When I get my apartment (another story) I think I'm gonna get and at least keep the Lego. Why not? I think I should.
I've had dreams recurring, rarely, of Lego, the intense search for a piece in a pile.
Today I remembered the sensation, and I also remembered the satisfaction of finding it. But most of all - when I was little, whenever I took the pile of lego out, and begun to build things, I always had this vague ambition of completion. I wanted to complete all the instructions, and ideally end up with no bricks on the rug.
Obviously, it never came anywhere near there. I built a bunch of models, then smashed them, then seasons changed, and mother put the Lego away (we were chased outside during summer)

I once visited one family
they had
a fucking vision
come true

In one room, the whole floor, was a complete Lego city. Nicely done. Obviously, they had spent money on this. Streets upon streets. You could carefully walk around in the city, by stepping along the roads. It was amazing. My parents were sortof in a hurry, and dragged me along "lets go come come >:0" "D:"

same as my first visit to the dinosaur exhibition at the university in Oslo, "omg... a real Iguanodon skeleton :0 this is magnificent! so majestic! once this was filled with muscle! organs! a beating heart! this creature moved, and breathed, and ate... and here it stands now. remains. what is left. you're still with us, buddy. you're still with us. Oh! what is over there? the skull of a Tarbosaurus, the Asian Tyrannosaurus! Not as big as i thought! But - "OKAY LETS GO :0 WE HAVE TO GO NOW! :0

Once knew a family with a small room designed for lego. It was good. If you want one, you should have it.

I used to have a Lego program.  I got another computer now so i don't have it now but i might get it again.  You get to build whatever you like, chose any brick, any colour and you build it in 3D.  I made a thread about it ages ago.  When you are happy with your design you can click a link and Lego will price it up and you can order it.

It's a real bummer though,  when you find out it is gonna cost hundreds of pounds.

I love lego, too.
blah blah blah
