A lot of folks will say 'porsche' when asked about a dream car.  Mine is a DB9 but i won't search for pics because I will get too excited and need to sort urchin out for school.

Not sure what genre to put 'Morgan' in but it deserves its place somewhere!




Morgan turns me on because they are hand built.  (so they can go in the handjob genre  )  I have been to the factory which is 20 miles from me and the people who work there have real skill and take real pride in the cars they build.   The Aeromax Coupe has a 4.8 V8 engine and does 0-60 in 4.5 seconds.  So it is a quick handjob. 

The Morgan Motor Company are tiny.  They make between 500 and 600 cars a year and there is a waiting list.  A tantric two years waiting     I kind of like the fact that many people haven't even heard of them.

I like cars with long bonnets.  Jags do it well, better than most.  I learned to drive in an old Daimler Jaguar when I worked at the Funeral Directors.

If going on a long journey, especially with 'passangers' it would be an ideal set of wheels.   I already have a Mercedes E300 3.0L Turbo diesel though,  which would do same    but thanks anyway.

There is a selfish part of me that wishes to drive solo.  For that, I would want a DB9.

The XJs are great for long journeys. Going to take my XJ8 on a trip next week and already looking forward to it. Not where I'm going, mind, but the trip there and back.
