I don't understand all these Catholics who want a Pope who "gets with the times."  If their doctrine bothers you so much, why are you Catholic?

My grandmother called them 'lukewarm catholics'.  I think if that is what they want they will have to break away and start their own version of the church,  the ultra orthodox ones already have in The Orthodox-Catholic Church of America.

I know very few people who were raised catholic who even come close to  following  church doctrine most have left the church entirely.  I was raised catholic and even attended CCD(Sunday school) till ninth grade I had pretty much made up my mind by fifth grade that is was a load of crap though
