Quote
Brooke Greenberg may appear to be no older than 4 or 5, but the girl, who suffers from a mysterious medical disorder, is actually 20 years old. Her extremely rare condition, dubbed "Syndrome X," has puzzled medical professionals for years.

On the bright side, this is one step up along the journey towards achieving immortality.

Except for the mental development it's almost the exact opposite of Progeria.

Her body kind of looks like it's aging even if it's stuck at one level of development, so I'm not convinced it would actually lengthen her lifespan.
You'll never self-actualize the subconscious canopy of stardust with that attitude.

I actually think that it may well holds some some aspects to aging. In fact I am sure of it. I amequally sure that no scientist alive will vbe able to make anything of this discovery to lengthen life. i think that IF they did, they would either fuck it up by making the recipient mentally retarded or give us some other strange condition.
IF this was looked into and studied by generations of well paid scientists...then maybe....but war and space travel has to be a better option
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

It's wouldn't be bad if they could stop it in your twenties but as Les said they would most likely fuck it up

I read this, and hear, in my mind, parents complain about their kids growing up too fast.   :M

Proven fact: All living things have a piece of genetic information that control how long they live. Seriously. All humans are a bit different, but they generally live in the ballpark of a century or so if they live real healthy lives. There is no way to extend this without modifying this gene, and who knows what would happen if someone actually went through with that?

I find that hard to believe for some reason.
