Me posing at Old Trafford
« on: November 15, 2012, 01:56:55 AM »
The inquiry is being held in a suite at United's ground, so obviously I am taking any opportunity to get photos of me in the VIP box etc  :zoinks:

What inquiry is that, Adam?

Cool pics, anyway. :plus:

Lestat yeah I have actually been to that group before lol, twice a couple years back. Do you go there? I'm not really into autism stuff though and didn't find it helpful really. Maybe the people there those times were just very low functioning, but I didn't seem to click with it really.

I live in Trafford btw. Although not Old Trafford. I'm further off near the Trafford Centre

odeon it was a inquiry over granting planning permission. I don't wanna post too much on here incase it randomly comes up in a search engine lol, I'd offer to pm you details but it's not very interesting :P Well, I find it interesting (although not the whole time as it's from 9.30 til about 5, every day and can get a bit dull/technical. But generally I find it interesting. What I mean is it's nothing particularly exciting or interesting to anyone else here I'm guessing

Must admit, I am much more motivated to turn up every day with it being at United's ground haha

I've been on the stadium tour a couple times (once as a kid and once  when I took my mate there last year) and been to a few matches there (although not for years), but this was great, getting to go in a proper posh box like that. I'm gonna try and sneak around a bit tomorrow or next week :)

God I would fucking love to have a season ticket in there. Or even just one match there actually. Having said that though, I think I'd prefer being in the seats in the stands in general. Im sure the novelty would wear off after a few games.

Cool.

Thought of you, hanging a Manchester United sports-shirt on a clothes hanger in the shop, yesterday.

It said Manchester, it said United, and I had to hang it with the other sports shirts. :P

We're not categorising between the type of sports, when it comes to shirts, at the shop.

And the point was that it made me think of you.  :hyke:

The pictures are cool :) That place looks like it could seat loads of people. I don't know if I could handle it if I were in the middle of it surrounded by screaming people (I have seen what they do on tv).

I suspect I'd be screaming too. :P

renaeden it seats nearly 80 thousand people

I actually don't have a problem with crowds. Not cheering people or shouting people anyway. It bothers me more in a "group" rather than a crowd, ie at a cinema. Coz then you get all the noises like people chewing or sniffing. When it's really loud, you don't get that coz you can't hear it. I don't mind crowds at concerts either. I think I am a LITTLE sensitive to really loud noise compared to most people. but I don't have a big problem with it like many autistic people seem to. My main noise problem is the little noises like I just mentioned. At the inquiry this week I have people chewing gum sometimes or slurping drinks. So fcuking annoying!

Used to. Need to restart with them though .

Would be interesting to meet a local member of my own species. You seem interesting enough to encounter in meatspace. PM for for details.
