Beer here also, I'm drinking a honeyed golden-dark bitter ale, with citrus, a local special brew that I just happened to notice on sale and was local to the area. Really, really good stuff it is too. I started the day tired, shattered and worn out, having not slept, since my meds wore off, a few hours into the night, which sucked asshole, waiting to pick up my refill, pretty uncomfortably, worked through it all the same in the lab, doing, well, what I do. And after picking up the needed meds, taking same, and a good snack (a big block of blue cheese, perfect to go with this beer too) and a bottle of this stuff, its got a lovely warm glow to it too. I feel reinvigorated for having that, when before starting the day I was more or less just running because my nervous system was too active to do anything else BUT keep running, running with no gas in the engine and on excess adrenaline/noradrenaline prodding me on. Blech. That beer, and I daresay, a couple of tranqs for some downtime after the stress of that, and a good cigar, not slept yet, but feel better already. Well I say a couple, make that 4 now. And picked up a few different local special brewskis in various varieties of ale. The one I started, and haven't completely finished yet, I'm enjoying mightily thats for sure.
An 'aaahhhhhhhhh that hit the spot' moment if that makes sense.
