Well we have had it six months or so.  It's leaving in two weeks when my daughter gets her own apartment and we will be down to just one cat and that one is in love with me for some reason

Now that's a good cat. How does he or she show you affection?

I often wish that Rowan would like to be held but he just doesn't. He pushes against my face with his feet. Sometimes he sits on my lap though.

I'm taking a real risk if I want to hold Kira. He may be fine at first - he'll cuddle into my shoulder. But if the slightest thing spooks him he will try to get away as fast as he can using his claws that are very sharp.

Tomorrow? The usual for a Friday.

Basically, twiddle my thumbs all night and until the hospital calls to let me know I can come over into the recovery room after my wife's surgery.

I checked her in to the hospital this morning to spend the day and night with bags of this and that kind of super hydration, electrolytes, and that messy named 'cillen thing again.

The BIG surgery is to happen early tomorrow. They tell there is nothing more to worry about. Does that ever work for you?

She is done with the surgery now, all went well and I have visited her in recovery.
Another night at the hospital and she should be able to come home for the last of her recovery.
