I do think it is a baby. But I also think that a woman has the right to do whatever she wants with her own body, and the fetus is still a part of the body.

One of the MAIN reasons I support legalized abortions is because of illegal abortions. Lots of women die all around the world because of back alley, illegal abortions. Also I can't possibly know what a woman is thinking or going though when she is pregnant and cant take care of the baby.

I read a very good book called " the cider house rules" (quite different from the movie) and it was about a doctor in Main that ran an orphanage/abortion clinic in the early 1900s. There were so many horror stories about alcoholic women giving birth to deformed babies, and rape victims killing themselves, and women dying from getting coat hangers shoved up inside them.

So, I just do not judge, and realize that I might not know everything about everything.

If I know a person that is going to have an abortion, I will try as hard as I can to talk her out of it, but will always support her decision to abort.

Yeh that is one of my reasons for supporting it too

But I wouldn't support an abortion after 8 months or something (except in certain circumstances)

If you're gonna get an abortion, do it as early as possible

During the first trimester, I don't think of it as a baby

Id never agree with partial birth abortions. I think that is murder and I would never accept something like that.

Is it strange for me to be so apathetic about strangers?  I don't see how it would affect me whether babies were circumcised, aborted, castrated, or lit on fire and tossed into a garbage pile.
