Yeah! My rat is gonna be a mighty pirate like Guybrush Threepwood. And then I got the name Spike because I've been watching too much Buffy the Vampire Slayer lately and it just seemed like a good name for a rat too.

Awww, hamster wheels. I got a big fancy one of those ordered and coming in the mail to me because I'm getting pet rats soon and getting a cage set up for them, I'm way excited about it, I'm going to name them Spike and Guybrush and they are going to be my tiny adorable friends. *current obsession*

Pet rats can be very amusing.  Had a friend once who had plastic see thru tubes all around her front room so you could see them wandering round.  Every so often it would open up to a room with a wheel in it or something!  but they just used to wander round all day long.  Very active!  You can also dye their fur with crazy colour and race them.
