Imagining myself in medieval times now.

Sometimes do that too. Designed a castle in my head once; took about three years.

 Jack has awesome focus!  I would love to travel back in time to visit medieval
 England, as long as I could have an anti-plague vaccination first!

I have often thought how cool a time machine would be.  So many different era's - i would love to see...but i don't think i could stomach the stench.

It's just a sleep thing. Have done several different structures. Am very spoiled and wouldn't really want to live in that time.

Loo, it is suggested stems from the French warning "Gardez l'eau" shouted
before emptying the contents of a chamber pot out of a window.Gardi loo was
a shout from an upper window in old London that a person was about to throw
"slops or night soil" out of the window.
French for "guard yourself from the waters"

That's what it said, but not from a reliable source or anything. It also said it could be an urban legend. Didn't really feel like looking up the etymology of the word loo to make sure though.

If i could peg my nose i would love to go back in time.  Just for a visit.  Maybe the Elizabethan period.

I wouldn't want to be a peasant though.  Would love to prance around in one of those huge dresses,  and go to a real ball....i am sounding like cinderella.

It would be cool though,  just for a day.

Oh i would imagine chamber pots and all sorts would be emptied through windows across the USA if i came a door knocking!

I read the same thing in a choose-your-own-adventure book when I was a kid.
