Took me forever to get it. Can only see it if not looking directly at it.

It took me forever to see that it was a flying monkey.  I'm spazzy like that.

I am basically invisible as a female in public.  Street harassment just doesn't happen to me.  :ninja:

Outright harassment in public might not be very common in general, but maybe getting attention that goes unnoticed. Since becoming a member of the work force, have tried to be more cognizant of acknowledging the presence of others. That's important to people, to have the space they take up acknowledged, eye contact and a quick smile passing in the hall, nod and good morning, things like that. Now it's more common to notice people noticing me.

I will, if necessary, do the quick eye contact and tight little smile :trollskull:  to avoid outright rudeness.

Never really did that in public, and thus was annoyed by people and never understood what made me so approachable to strangers when never bothering to even look at them. Though if you do notice people in public, that doesn't really mean being unnoticed. It makes sense someone might be giving a flirtatious look or smile and an aspie might not have the ability to read that type of subtly on their face.
