This afternoon I taught my nephew how to play Risk (the board game I gave him for his birthday last month). Well, we read (I, out loud) the whole manual/the 'how to play the game booklet' for I hadn't played that game for p/m 25 years now. And ja, we played one round (or game.. lasting over two hours) and he now know the rules, I reckon.
Saw my sister and we talked for a bit. She's in the battle fighting cancer and ja, it shows. Um, there's a chance I'm the carrier of the BRCA1 mutation (the gen), like my sister has, too. I already knew, via mother, but..
.. dunno. Looked it up, on teh webz, and ja, there a somewhat bigger chance I might develop cancer of the breasts (that would be bizarre) a/o maybe have a buggersome prostate later on. Well, she thinks I should have me tested for it and I.. just avoid doctors and hospitals like the plaque. "/
Done some groceries shopping (in two supermarkets) after I left their place and made dinner after that. Done the dishes and ja ja ja.. played my piano.. for over half an hour this evening. Which is for quite a long time.. usually I 'go meh' after 5 to 10 minutes.
Music, before all other art-forms I suppose, is the most direct expression of the heart. Kinda needed that (or sutin').
Am now drinking a glass of red wine.
