Some chores.

Bringing girls starters for breakfast in bed. (bowl of strawberries, that woke them with a smile) Made rest of breakfast. Did some work with the youngest on her room. Had tea. Helped ladies to set up the baby pool in the garden. Now here on I2, hearing splashing noises from the garden, and teenage talk.

You are such a sweet bovine mum, your girls are lucky to have you.  :)

Celebrated the 12-yo's last day on the job by buying beer and crisps.

I assume you shared.      You did give him a little party, didn't you?  ;)

My present to him was to refrain from laughing when the owners presented him with a bottle of whisky.

Why laughing? Did you put a laxative in the bottle?

He doesn't like whisky.

Had pancakes with syrup for b'fast.

A) I don't like pancake syrup
B) Pancakes + syrup = too many carbs
C) Even with my diabetes pill, I crashed for 3 hours in a sleep.
D) Damn, girl.  You've got to learn.

Feels like I didn't do a thing, but that isn't true.
Did do way more than half on my list.

But, it all went so slow and tiresome, despite coffee and full batch of meds.

Oh well, new day tomorrow.

And I did finally buy a food mill. Hope it will make me process sprouted chickpeas for falafel inspired balls quicker.

Homeschooling.  Middle started today.  Things are going well so far.  He skipped 2 grades, going from kindergarten to third.  His kindergarten teacher recommended I skip him to fourth with Oldest, but I don't want him to feel frustrated.  We'll get there when we get there.  I'm glad I did because he's not ready for fourth grade math just yet.

Our textbooks are on ipad.  Love that.  Even with the cost of a used first generation ipad it was cheaper than buying all the textbooks.

In fairness to the 12 y.o. whisky is gross shit.

After having my box of sewing thread tumble down for the 3rd times in four days, I put 108 spools of thread in zip lock bags.  They may fall out now, but the buggars won't tangle (or waltz or cha-cha-cha)
