Kid and his girlfriend dropped an a couple iced animal crackers, cat ate them. Spent the night cleaning up cat yak.

Spent morning fetching tools because the old man decided he wants to work on the front steps. MIL pulls in, he finds a snake under one step he's screaming "copperhead" and screaming at me to find a board to kill it with and bug spray, MIL is screaming at me to find something...all the while he's holding a shovel in his hand.

I don't have a board so I finally start yelling at him to hit it with the fucking shovel already or step aside and just let me kill the fucking thing which I can't even see from the bottom of the steps and he won't let me up...I think I dropped the f-bomb a couple more times and left them both out there with the fucking snake hoping it ate them.

Come out 10 minutes later, the "monster" snake is dead...all 4 inches of him. Shook my head in amazement at both of them. :facepalm2:

Still not sure what he was going to do with the bug spray...maybe spray it.

I need meds.

Poor snake :(  I saved a small copperhead from being killed once when it was trapped in the basement of a new house I was working on,  I let it go in the woods about a hundred yards away from the house on water company property.

Today I worked all by myself  on a lake associations club house behind a locked gate and locked doors it was great, so peaceful :)

Finally the weather was/is nice here and I did a bit of gardening this afternoon. Some weeding I did and a virburnum (some shrub) I've taking out of the ground. Which was quite a bugger to do with all the roots and shit.

Also made some egg/chives salad an hour ago. Used to buy the stuff in the supermarket (ridiculously) but from now on I'll be making it myself. Dead easy to make and way² nicer, taste-wise and, of course, healthier too.

Sat in the sun for a bit and ran some errands also.

Filled the area where the front steps "used" to be in with dirt. :P

After listening to his BIL, his friend, and his plans...which ranged from building wooden steps to digging up half the yard I decided to extend the railing, and just fill in the old steps and plant more shit...I'll use the driveway on one side and eventually lay some stepping stones on the other side to make a lazy little path to the carport.  After cleaning up a shitload of rotted wood and mess, and fetching tools half the day and thinking about having my whole yard become a fucking mess for 2 months or more, and hearing the plans to bring in the big tiller...I decided I'd be better off...my anal retentive/OCD part of me does not deal well with chaos for long periods of time. :GA:

Maybe not having a direct path to the front door will confuse the Jehovah Witnesses and keep away unwanted visitors. :apondering: >:D

Just be prepared for unwanted visitors wandering around the back yard.

Took the PR as a guest to the AA meeting.  Dumpster dived and got a bath towel, 3 assorted storage containers, all of them on the small size.

It's a little before 1 a.m. here, I have posted a bit and stuck myself in the finger with my manicure scissors.  :tard:
