Not quite believing one impossible thing before b'fast, but I did take a walk today.

I met my little niece today. She is not literally my niece, but her mom grew up across the street from my brothers and I, so we have always been like family. Her baby is 3mos. She is a really sweet baby, doesn't cry a lot. We got along right away. Lil baby :)
Can't you guys even just imagine it?

That's wonderful.  Kids generally scare me, but I have met a few sweet babies.  :bonnet:

She is very sweet, we got along really well.

I used to be afraid of kids when I was younger. Then in my teens I was around women who had babies a lot and learned to be a bit more comfortable. Then, as a volunteer at the hospital, one of my assignments was to hold sickly new borns, so I really became an expert at reading the signs (to make sure they are okay) and also to be okay with them crying.

I've only ever held one baby, just long enough for a picture to be taken.  I looked uncomfortble!

Motivated kids out of the door, did some shopping, got some herb plants for my mother. Planted some more parsley in my own garden. Took care of cats. Made fresh orange juice in the morning. Took bike of daughter to repairshop. She fell, because of a car not giving her the right of passage he should have given, and wrecked some spokes. Glad she decided to fall before she was before the wheels of said car. She is adjusting to hand brakes, her former bike had pedaling brakes.
Now adjusting to girls being away. Takes time all the time to adjust. By the time I start to enjoy it, they are about to return again.  :P
Don't know what time they will return tomorrow. Depends on them and their dad getting bored with each other.  :nerdy:

Read a whitepaper. Well, tried to. My focus sucks.

Mowed the rest of the lawn
Cut up and burned a load of scrap wood
Tinkered

Gave my three tomato plants a spot in the garden, put two mari-joanna-lumleys in their final pots (well, maybe not.. they might need bigger ones still.. ) and wondered about the wankery state the care-bizz in this region is in (depressed friend of sis related).

Other stuff I did.. but am now sitting in the sun in 'me' lil garden. Could be worse, could be worse..

played hairdresser.  :hyke:
Tried to make an appointment for the young ladies at their favourite hairdresser. She was booked completely full this week.
So, they decided mum had to wield the scissors.  :zombiefuck:

Last time I did that, the oldest was six or so. Now two teens with their very specific wishes.....
I did sweat a lot, but, the oldest is content. Will hear what the youngest thinks of it in a few minutes, when she leaves the shower.

Also ordered blue hairdye on behalf of the oldest. That will be our project for the weekend.
