Went out and got a coffee and a sausage egg and cheese on a hard roll

I'm considering buying stock in Gorilla Glue.  Art Linkletter was right when he said parenthood wasn't for sissies.

Luckily I avoided parenthood, so my whole life is just about me, me, me!   :2thumbsup:

Saw Silver Linings Playbook.  Better than I thought it was going to be.

The weather is just fine here. Finally the cold (and chilly eastern wind) went away today.. so Iz worked in my garden this afternoon and planted 5 small shrubs of raspberry and gave a blackberry and Jap. wineberry (both 'off-shoots) a different spot.

Also tried to fix the door (the lock/it didn't open) of my washing machine. Hope that's okay now.. was quite a bugger to get the think open.

Going to run some errands in a bit and make myself a prawn dish after that.

There often is a cord you can pull, to be found behind "dat klepje waar je kan afwateren en een zeefje reinigen. Als je voelt met je vingers langs de binnenkant van de wasmachine omhoog, door dat klepje dus, kun je vaak een lus van een koord of kabel voelen. Daar kun je de deur mee open krijgen, door er aan te trekken."

I got kids to school, worked, got home, and went shopping with the youngest. We had been delaying that for months. Now was the perfect day, hardly people in the shops, and we almost got everything on our list. Even found her shoes, without aggravation.

Good to see you Lutra.

Was thinking of you, when cooking dinner, because it all came together so well. And lo and behold, here you are.

Hey Hykey.. ça va? Hope you're 'bien'. Good to see you too.

Didn't know about the cord there. Haven't checked yet though. Gonna..

Haven't done much today still. Cup of tea and some toast with brie I had.

I'm good.

The lasting cold got me sprouting, and that brings different dishes. Nothing too exciting yet, but, it is kind a addictive.
Now got myself some big purple pots to give my bigger herbs a better place.

Today, I got kids to school, went to work. Did some supply preparing, and worked at the till for a couple of hours. All by myself this time. Now home, enjoying the calm. Soon the girls will be home, starting their mini holidays.

Thanks for that good advice, Hykey. No kidd ya.. for the first time in my life I opened up that little doorlet on the washing machine.. to find a thingie where one could pull on.. and yes, the door opened up. Cleaned the filter there (first timer too, here) and greased the locking mechanism a tadski better than I did yesterday. Yesterday I used WD-40 but that didn't do the trick. Now it works a treat. Thanks again.

Did other daily stuff but also, talking 'bout sprouting/in a way, I put a lot of small garden cress seeds in a little plastic container. On proper soil, spray-watered the soil and put the lit on. P/m in a week I'll have 'me' own cress. Said to be very healthy stuff.. to be grown year 'round basically.

May Spring arrive soon..
