I've been doing that a lot lately. I was on the phone with Garmin today trying to get the correct wiring harness to install a GPS in one of the airplanes. He explained that the antenna pigtail on the harness I wanted was only four inches. I replied, with much confidence: "Oh, I can work with four inches."

Not much. Had a barbecue with the other patients but I only really talked to one of the nurses. Did talk to a patient later though and he seemed nice. Said he got stressed out easily or something.

I slept in the afternoon. Then Ceilidh came to visit me and she brought some stuff that I need.

Had a talk with the PR about sexuality.  Explained homo (lesbian and gay), hetero, bi, and trans.  She didn't have too much trouble except for grasping exactly how someone can be trans.  Told her about Ceilidh and Adam.  I'm not sure how successful I was, but it was an experience.

I feel for her.

That was frustrating as hell when I dated my stalker. Although I would sooner be back with her, and see her but a few hours a year, than spend all my time with anybody else.

Contraceptives? hey, you never know, you might end up a granny sometime ^_^

I wouldn't mind being a granny.  Her neurologist won't prescribe her epilepsy meds unless she is on birth control.  They cause too many birth defects.  So I give her a shot 4 times a year.  She's cool with the situation and has planned to adopt (puppies I hope).

Lots of yard work and shed cleaning

I may be able to advise, R.e anticonvulsants.

My knowledge of neuropharmacology, and in particular GABA receptors, sodium channel blockers, etc. and other anticonvulsants like the GABA-T inhibitors, etc. is pretty damn extensive. And I have to deal with seizures myself. And I'd love to be of assistance to the PR.

I could recommend lemon balm tea for her. It will do no harm, tastes lovely, grows like plague and contains some natural inhibitors of GABA-transaminase. Its not a hugely potent anticonvulsant, but it isn't a teratogen. And unlike the rest of the brood, it doesn't fuck over memory, in fact, it contains some acetylcholine-modulating substances that IMPROVE memory.

Just boil a few handfuls of fresh picked balm in water, add honey to sweeten, ready to serve. I love it.
