Went Christmas shopping with my mother and then we stopped at the grocery store to get a few things and Egg Nog. Now I am watching Cars with my son.

Caught up on cleaning and laundry and then went and picked up a friend and did some Christmas shopping. Found some thrift stores with an amazing retro game stock for the oldest. Then got all dolled up for a Christmas party.

Rang up twice about getting my internet back (didn't have it since Thursday) and they were no help at all, except saying that I probably needed a new SIM card. I rang twice because they hung up on me the first time.

After that I sent a text to Ceilidh explaining the problem and she told me how to fix it. Internet back. Ceilidh is great tech support. :)

Fought with the cat. (not the whole day, but just now) Somehow Sirius thinks he can treat me like a tree lately.  :voodoo:

Spent most of the rest of the day on housekeeping chores, and on helping make a surprise wrapping. Youngest will make a steamloc for StNic at school. The bulk of it is ready now. Tomorrow it will be painted black, and then the last ornamenting of it can happen.

Oh, and waited for ages to be able to post this post.  :M

Gave the oldest two tests. One in language and the other in science. Then we did math and history. Made lunch. Had a shower. Made some lists of stuff I have to remember in the hopes that knowing it's on paper will help with my anxiety. Heading out soon to pick up the youngest from school then going to tell them about the dog tonight.  :2thumbsup:
