Dogs have always made me weak willed and lilly livered.  I just can't ever be harsh with them.  Just too endearing.

I have been a dogsitter for about 17 years, and the only time I ever smacked a dog
was when I thought he was about to attack another.  (It turned out they were just playing,
but the display of teeth scared me at that time.)  Dogs are wonderful.

Today I managed to get through the work day, despite being so punch-drunk from
a messed-up sleep cycle that I was just about useless in the last hour.  :autism:

Drove back home from my hometown. Good visit. Took out the trash. Brought in more firewood as the beautiful weather we had over the weekend is about to change to low temps this week. Currently eating chips and catching up on tv just because I can.

Nothing much.  Usual household stuff.  Finished making a blanket for PA out of some large towels (long story).  Have an annoying occasional cough from a tickle in my throat and a stuffed sinus that kept me blah today.

Usual morning stuff, getting two kids out of bed, fed and ready for school.
Then tucked in the youngest again.

Culled two drawers in my kitchen from their overload.

Now here.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

Went to a pre-op checkup and everything seems to be fine with me. Now at home, posting instead of doing anything useful.

Posting is not just useful, it is ... *Shatner pause* ... essential.   :apondering:

Worked under a house that is right on the edge of a harbor and discovered part of the crawl space floods at high tide, it was about five inches deep in one section when I left
