Went shopping early in the day to buy a dress. Ended up finding two I loved. I abhor shopping so this was a pleasant surprise. Went to a wedding out of town. Ceremony was sweet. Then out to dinner and finally home to enjoy tv, a fire, and hot chocolate. It's pouring rain outside for the second day in a row. Yay for pj's :)

Worked the polls for early voting, only 2 more days left.

3 voters were escorted from the polls:  2 were obviously drunk or intoxicated, one came close to a fist fight with the polling place supervisor over how much assistance he was allowed to give his brother.  I'm sorry but if your brother can't read, is nonverbal and can't touch a computer screen to mark his vote, you CANNOT do it all for him.  He has to actually make the choice on the computer screen, not you.

4 major accusations of polls/rules/ballots being biased.

We processed 578 voters in 9 1/2 hours.

Finished making a soup (chicken/veg), ate something and had a coffee a little later, took a shower and did a laundry. Or did? I put some of my clothes in the machine and the thing is doing its tricks.. um, as we 'speak'. Going to bring the collected plastic stuff and glass bottles to the containers (for recycling shit) which stand not that far away from here.. in an hour or so. I'm thinking of visiting my sister's house after that. Weather's fine and.. (we'll see)

The best thing to do with that knife is to triple-bag it and throw it in the trash!
