Took an outside look at a foreclosed house an acquaintance has seen on the Internet.  Seems fairly solid from the outside, although the central A/C is gutted.  Very nice yard.  Couldn't see much inside, too short.

I worked for a while, thenfed the kids, and ifnally had a beer or two with a few work mates.

A beer or two or a case or two?

Might have been three.

Licenses, kit? why would a dog need a license?

I've got out of bed, although I couldn't sleep a wink last night :(

Went to see my doc, got my fresh rx, went home, shot 3 oxycontin, got some mail I was expecting via next day special delivery, and then vaporized 6-7mg of the 1-[(N-methylpiperidin-2-yl)methyl]-3-(2-iodobenzoyl)indole that arrived in the post.

Ate some cold roast chicken, then cooked up a shot of OC, had half of  it, dissolving  a 1mg etizolam pill sublingually, just finished that, about to go satisfy my munchy craving with a huge bowl of cornflakes, washed down with cherry vimto. Going to vape a bit more AM-2233 in my DMT/meth pipe first though, that way food will be a ton more satisfying xD, and I still have the last of  my pre-made oxy shot ready to go...which is fortunate because my hip is fucking killing me. A am so, SO glad I have the doc I do, just got him booking me a physiotherapy consult with a specialist, and I'll have an appointment with the pain clinic next month

Hopefully they be less conservative than regular GPs and finally get me something that works fully
as I am fucking fed up of my knee and hip being so damn sore all the time. I shouldn't HAVE to pay for my own analgesia on top of my meds-that should be a treat, not something I'm stuck with.

I'm currently-sat on a computer chair stacked with many pillows, but eating a big tub of triple chocolate ripple ice cream. I normally really prefer cherry vanilla ripple, there wasn't any, else I would have gone for that out of habit, but this is exactly what the dr ordered to satisfy my munchies. Although the three bowls of cornflakes I just ate helped fill a hole alright.

Hmmm.....my hip pain has subsided greatly now after taking nobbut ice cream. This is some good shit, and I don't mean only the AM-2233.

Also looking for spare loose change to go and buy candy, and going to have a rollup, and hit the glass pipe again :D

Second thoughts...I've just fitted a fresh, clean pipe screen to the smaller of my 2 shotgun pipes, I think a direct flame might be just fine.
Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.

Worked but got a monster of a headache and had to leave early. Drove son to autie camp and ate at Subway with daughter.

Hope they can get inside to take a better look. Gutted A/C around here normally means they took the plumbing and the wiring too. :P

I think I notice a trend here.

I woke up, didn't sleep at all last night
I hurt
I shot up drugs
I ate something spicy
Doctors suck
Had a smoke and some more drugs and posted on internet

After doing a bit of reading on forclosures on the web, I may discourage her from a foreclosure.  They do seem to be full of trouble to buy.  She doesn't have a lot of money, but would like a house.  I wouldn't buy the house without a looksee inside, don't know if it's allowed under La. foreclosure law.

If she doesn't have enough money to be able to fix what she can physically see needs fixing PLUS the surprises in the walls, under the floors etc then it wouldn't be a wise investment.

I don't know her all that well.  She's the lady who runs the handicapped bowling for the parish.  I know she's divorced and doesn't have a lot of money.  She located the house on the net and asked me to drive by since it's only 3 blocks away.  I've offered to look at it with her, since two pair of eyes are better than one. For out neighborhood it's a good price, but I would certainly err on the side of downplaying it if we look at it.  I'm the type to get under the sink and look for leaks, open all the closets, look in the attic, look for insulation, etc.  It only took PA and I 5 years to find a house because I was so embarrassing to him looking like cartoon Sherlock Holmes.

What do you mean lit?

And of course theres no wiring or plumbing in abandoned houses, they are just ripe for the easy entry usually, when people will climb in and have away with the electrical wiring and plumbing. Scrap metal can be worth quite a bit, especially copper. Cu prices are good atm.

I've easily made 70-80 quid from a few hours work before, a few hours hacksawing and tweaking with a crowbar, wirestrippers and a pipe cutter, and thats a hearty steak dinner at a nearby pub for me, and a nice fat wad of cash in my wallet left over.

And thats not the best bit quite often, one might find antiques too.

Playing catchup on dishes, laundry, and final prepping for the adopt-a-thon at my store. 3 kitties found new homes tonight. Hoping for 10 in total by the end of the weekend. Took the girl out to buy a birthday present for her friend and then went to the drugstore to pick up my prescription. Tried to hold it together long enough to pick up said meds without bursting out laughing because when you throw my kids together, hilarity ensues.

Foreclosures aren't all bad, same as the infamous "For Sale by Owner". I've seen couples starting out just walk away when things didn't work out, and others that just hit bottom, neither able to pay the taxes.

Sometimes you can get a deal, but you have to know what you're looking at or get someone else to look at it that does, and always talk friendly to the neighbors if you can. Neighbors will tell you alot some times...sometimes it makes the difference between paying 32,000 for a fixer-upper or 15,000 when you tell the owner what you "know".  ;)

That's how we got the first house...I can apply the right social skills in small doses. :autism:
