My niece (Charlotte/10 y/o) came over this afternoon and we made some 3D cards. It's a thing she likes doing.

This is the one I've made. I'm sooo proud.  :autism:

(oh, it's a jigsaw (power tool).. where I, against the tide, made the 3D effect go sideways a bit) (for ja, you know, I'm a rebel like that  :green:)

Drove my daughter to the airport. She's going to spend the next two weeks in Nottingham training figure skating.

She is brave :viking:  Is she staying with pals?  'tis robin hood territory you know!  hope she has a good time

She's very brave. It's her first flight trip without us. :viking:

She's been training for this all summer.

There's 14 of them, actually, plus the coach. They are staying at a local hotel but I suppose most of their time is spent at the skating rink.

Yes, don't worry, Nottingham is a sleepy little town,  well it's more of a village really.  The village boasts only a handful of boys who's only recreational activity is bell ringing and choir practice    Apart from an ice rink, and Boots the chemist, there is only a small post office and the village hall.   :zoinks:

Bell ringing and choir practice?  :apondering: I talked to he earlier and she didn't mention any of this.

Me, I severely abused my golf clubs today. Fun but oh so bad I am at it.

Went to Leicester for a job interview, I think it went alright-ish. Anyone know if it's legal for them to ask disability related questions during interviews? :apondering:

Most likely, but I doubt you have to answer them. Although you might want to if you want the job.

Of course she didn't mention it.  Locals must have taught her how they get ridiculed for their wholesome lifestyles!  In fact, it is common practice to play recordings of party noises down the phone line, just so people never suspect!   If she rings again, and you hear background noise sounding like a party, then please just pretend and go along with it, for you will know it is just to cover up the bell ringing :tard:

Today I have been slacking off like a pro.

Yesterday, I made two appointments at the dentist. One for me, I had been postponing to do that for months, and one for my mother, who was even worse, than I am, in postponing.

 :viking:

I'm pretty damned good at it, too. Olympic Games-good.
